Why would you put something on your skin you would not put in your mouth? 

why would you put something in your mouth that was not ethically sourced?

The same with soap.

If you buy a chocolate bar it contains palm oil. But it could be from any where and probably is the cheapest that will work.

Not so with anything that is put in my soap. 

little story: So I bought some TEA TREE OIL from amazon. it arrived and looked and smelt and felt just fine. But once in a soap , where it had to interact with other products is seemed to me to be a little to smelly , a little to oily just not quite there?? so I looked at the bottle, made in China!! so I did a little investigating , so just like the cheep Honey you buy in the supermarket that is made in a factory in china (if your honey has EU and other  the other is 95% of what you have bought is from China) and not a single bee was involved in its making. So it is with tea tree oil from china.. no plants involved. The only place tea tree oil is grown the extracted is Australia and South Africa. that is why it is three or four times the price. and that is what I use.
